Commercial services are billed at the hourly rate plus film and expenses. One 15 exposure roll of film for each full hour billed is included in the hourly rate.

Film

Except where specifically requested, medium format film in 6cm. x 4.5cm. format is utilized. One 15 exposure roll of film for each full hour billed is included in the hourly rate. Additional film is billed at $ 30.00 per 15 exposure roll / $ 60.00 per 30 exposure roll. This charge includes:

Color Negative: film, process, contact sheet or 4x5 proof prints.
Color Transparency: film, process, sleeve.
Black & White Negative: film, process, contact sheet.

Color and Black & White Prints and
Other Commercial Products

Many commercial jobs require color transparencies or prints to produce color separations for printing. However, some jobs require other media as a finished product. Please request a separate price quote if you require:

Duraflex Display Prints (in sizes from 8"x10" to 40"x60")
Duratrans Display Transparencies (in sizes from 8"x10" to 40"x60")

Other Expenses

Other expenses are billed at cost.

Terms

One half of the anticipated hourly rate and film charge and the full amount for expenses or expense item deposits is payable at the time of booking. The hourly rate advance and all non-recoverable expense expenditures are not refundable in the event of cancellation. The balance is billed on a net 30 day basis at the time the proofs, prints, transparencies or contact sheets are delivered.

Under federal copyright law, copyright of all images rests with the photographer. Original negatives and transparencies are maintained on file with the studio. There is no 'use fee' for your business use of the images if a credit line is added to the finished product crediting the photography to Don Douglas Photography of Juneau, Alaska. Please inquire if you desire to purchase the copyright to the images.

If you can supply such information about your job as what sort of finished product you need, the location in which the photography will need to be shot and the number of images required, we can prepare an estimate for you. We are happy to meet with you to discuss the requirements of your assignment.
